Her broad expertise allows her to approach her work with creativity and innovation, always seeking new ways to express her ideas.
She is also an active member of the arts community, having served on numerous jury panels and editorial boards in Iran and internationally. Her work has been supported by prestigious grants and residencies, including the Avolon and RHA Global Studio Award in Ireland and the WARP Contemporary Art Center in Belgium.
With nearly three decades of experience and numerous solo exhibitions worldwide, Jinoos has presented her work across multiple platforms and countries. She has collaborated with renowned institutions such as the Chelsea Museum, MAXXI Museum, Whitechapel Gallery, and Wiesbaden Kunsthalle. In addition to her visual art practice, she is also an author and speaker, having published books and led lectures and workshops on art, activism, and collaboration.
Jinoos’s work often challenges traditional forms and engages directly with political and social issues. Her wide-ranging experience and collaborative approach make her a valuable contributor to any artistic project or exhibition.
After the 2022 political uprising in Iran, Jinoos was forced to leave the country. She now lives in Toronto, where she continues her artistic practice and activism.
